This page explains what Anarch stores, where it comes from, and what leaves your device.
Data stored in your browser
Anarch keeps a few things in your browser's local storage so the app works without an account:
- Watch history and resume position: title, timestamp and playback progress for things you've opened, so Continue Watching works.
- My List: titles you've saved and their status.
- Search and source preferences: recent searches, the selected player mode and local source-performance history.
Anarch does not upload these local records to its own database. They stay in the browser and are removed if you clear site data. There is no Anarch account system.
Data sent to third parties
Anarch's catalogue is sourced from The Movie Database (TMDB) through a server-side proxy. Requests first reach the hosting platform and then TMDB. Hosting and CDN infrastructure may keep standard security and access logs.
Opening playback connects your browser to the selected third-party provider. The provider receives the normal information needed for a web request, including your IP address, browser details, the requested title identifier and referring-site information allowed by browser policy. VidCore, VidLink and VidZen operate independently and may apply their own privacy, cookie and advertising practices.
Anarch does not include its own analytics, tracking pixels or advertising scripts. Its sandbox blocks player pop-up windows and top-level navigation, but it cannot inspect or remove everything rendered inside a cross-origin player.
Cookies
Anarch does not set first-party tracking cookies. An embedded provider may use storage inside its own frame according to its policies.
Children's privacy
Anarch is not directed at children and we don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone.
